Content Operations Software
Viral Ops
Content operations for short-form video.
Viral Ops is software for creators and media teams that helps discover content opportunities, prepare short-form video, review publishing readiness, and manage publishing to connected social accounts — using each platform's own official, authorized integration. Users connect only accounts they own or are authorized to manage, and every connection can be revoked at any time.
What Viral Ops does
Discovery & opportunity ranking
Surfaces and ranks content opportunities from authorized source material, so an operator can see what is worth producing next.
Media intelligence
Analyzes authorized source media — audio, visuals and comment signal — to understand what a piece of content actually contains.
Clip candidates
Identifies and ranks promising short-form clip candidates from longer authorized source material.
Preparation
Prepares short-form variants, including captions and platform-appropriate formatting, from the selected candidate.
Quality & publishing-readiness checks
Runs quality control and publishing-readiness checks before anything is queued for a connected platform.
Publishing workflows
Manages the publishing workflow for each connected, authorized account, respecting that platform's own permissions and capabilities.
Learning from outcomes
Where performance and economic data exists, Viral Ops learns from real outcomes to improve future ranking — never to bypass a safety or rights check.
Workflow
Platform integrations
Viral Ops connects to social platforms using each platform's own official authorization mechanism. Availability of any specific action depends on the permissions and capabilities granted by each connected platform account, and on that platform's own current app-review and API status.
TikTok
Account connection and publishing use TikTok's official Login Kit and Content Posting API, subject to TikTok's app review status and the permissions granted to the connected account.
YouTube
Uses the official YouTube Data API and YouTube Analytics API for authorized channel publishing and reporting. See YouTube API Use for detail.
Uses Meta's official Graph API for authorized professional-account publishing, subject to the permissions granted to the connected account.
Viral Ops uses YouTube API Services.
By using Viral Ops' YouTube integration you are also agreeing to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of data it receives is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
How Viral Ops itself handles data — across every connected platform — is described in the Privacy Policy, alongside the Terms of Service and the YouTube API Use page.
Safety & control
- Only accounts the operator owns or is explicitly authorized to manage are connected — through each platform's own login flow.
- Each platform's own permissions and publishing capabilities are respected; Viral Ops does not attempt to exceed what a connected account is currently allowed to do.
- Content goes through rights, claims and quality-control checks before it can be queued for publishing.
- Publishing availability depends on the connected platform and account, and can change if that platform's own permissions change.
- Ranking and prioritization ("autonomy") determines which already-eligible work is preferred. It does not and cannot grant permission to publish something a platform, a rights check, or a quality check has refused.
- Any connected account can be disconnected, and its stored data deleted on request, at any time.
Public access
The operator console lives at /app. It requires the operator's own sign-in, it is not open to registration, and it is reachable only while the operator's own machine is running Viral Ops.
