Terms of Service
Effective date: August 28, 2026
1. Service description
Viral Ops is a content operations platform for creators and media teams. It helps discover content opportunities, prepare short-form video, review publishing readiness, and manage publishing to social accounts a user connects and is authorized to manage, using each platform's own official API. The Viral Ops application itself is currently private and internal, and is not publicly accessible; there is no public self-service sign-up.
2. Eligibility
Access to Viral Ops is currently granted individually by its operator. A user must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in their jurisdiction if higher, and must have the legal right to connect and manage any platform account they authorize Viral Ops to access.
3. Authorized account usage
A user may only connect platform accounts they own or are explicitly authorized by the account owner to manage. Connecting an account the user does not have authority over is a breach of these Terms and of the connected platform's own terms, independent of anything Viral Ops itself does.
4. User responsibilities
The user is responsible for the content they choose to produce and publish through Viral Ops, for holding the necessary rights to any source material they use, and for complying with every connected platform's own rules for the account in question.
5. Content rights
Content processed or published through Viral Ops must have appropriate authorization and rights held by the account owner. Viral Ops runs rights, claims and quality-control checks before content can be queued for publishing, but this does not shift responsibility for rights clearance away from the user — those checks are a safeguard, not a substitute for the user holding the necessary rights in the first place.
6. Prohibited use
Users may not use Viral Ops to: publish content they do not hold the rights to; impersonate another person or entity; circumvent, or attempt to circumvent, a connected platform's own restrictions, rate limits, review processes or verification requirements; connect an account without proper authorization; or use the service for any unlawful purpose.
7. Platform rules
Use of any platform integration is additionally governed by that platform's own terms and policies. In particular, use of the YouTube integration is subject to the YouTube Terms of Service; by using that integration you agree to be bound by them. Viral Ops does not promise monetization, platform approval, or any particular publishing outcome on any platform, and does not attempt to circumvent a platform's restrictions or verification requirements. Viral Ops does not delete content from a connected platform on your behalf.
8. Third-party platform integrations
Viral Ops integrates with TikTok, YouTube and Instagram using each platform's official API. Viral Ops operates as an API client under, among others, the YouTube API Services Terms of Service and Developer Policies. These integrations depend on continued access to each platform's API and on the permissions granted by the connected account; Viral Ops has no control over a platform's own review process, uptime, or policy changes, and is not responsible for a platform's own decisions about what a connected account may do.
9. Availability
This website and the Viral Ops software are provided on an as-is, as-available basis. There is no guarantee of continuous, uninterrupted, or error-free availability. Availability of any connected platform's API, and the features that depend on it, may change at any time and is outside the control of Viral Ops.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable German and EU law, Viral Ops is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, regarding fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted availability. Liability for intent and gross negligence, and liability under mandatory statutory provisions (including but not limited to the German Product Liability Act, and for injury to life, body or health), remains unaffected and is not limited by these Terms. For ordinary negligence, liability is limited to foreseeable damage typical for a service of this kind. Nothing in these Terms limits the mandatory rights of a consumer under the law of their habitual EU residence.
11. Account authorization & revocation
A user may disconnect any platform account, or request deletion of stored data, at any time. Details and deadlines are in the Privacy Policy.
12. Suspension & termination
Access to Viral Ops may be suspended or terminated, with or without notice, for a breach of these Terms, for a connected platform's own enforcement action against the account in question, or where continuing to provide the service is no longer reasonably possible. A user may stop using Viral Ops, and disconnect every connected account, at any time.
13. Intellectual property
The Viral Ops name, logo, and the content of this website are the property of their operator and may not be copied or reused without permission. All third-party trademarks, including TikTok, YouTube, Google, Meta and Instagram marks, belong to their respective owners.
14. Governing law & venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding its conflict-of-laws rules and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. For a user who qualifies as a consumer under EU law, the mandatory consumer-protection provisions of their country of habitual residence remain unaffected, and nothing here removes their right to bring proceedings in the courts of that country.
15. Changes
The content of this website, including these Terms, may be updated from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date above.
